The address is 7322 N. Leavitt Ave., in the St Johns neighborhood of Portland, Oregon. It is right next to a delightful place called Girasole Wood Fired Restaurant. We ate there last week; had the lasagna. Lovely!

Last Thursday heralds the last of the warm weather and kicks off our Kickstarter campaign
September 29, 2011 we were at NE 25th & Alberta – I scored a good location around noon and set up our table. Amy Sacks displayed her collage cards and sold 1!! Yay!!
John sold 3 cards, all of which are on the Kickstarter campaign to be put on to T-shirts and hooded sweatshirts. Many people stopped by and studied the cards – Amy’s and John’s – for a long time. We passed out many business cards. People loved the biz cards! Scott and I spent an afternoon painting swatches with stencils and fabric paint WAG onto them (based on a suggestion from my PCC Small Biz adviser) and stapled them to existing biz cards. Makes them memorable.
As for Kickstarter, so far, our funding is at 6% and 18 days to go, which… surprises me. Everyone who sees John’s artwork look at it for a long time and want it in some form or other. His Oregon picture series is so iconic, I thought for sure people would be lining up. I think our backer awards are substantial and fairly priced.. but I’m interested in hearing what people want to see from us and what products they would buy. The collection on Kickstarter is perfect for the holidays. Let’s hear from you! An easy way to find John’s project: go to Kickstarter.com and search for Wear My Art and click on the eagle.
